JAPAN-SHIP-MILITARY-ACCIDENT
White smoke rises from the Japanese naval ship Kurama following a collision with a South Korean container ship in a channel near Shimonoseki, southern Japan, on October 27, 2009. One crew member aboard the 5,200-tonne escort ship Kurama was slightly injured fighting a fire after the collision at 7:56 pm (1056 GMT), a ministry spokesman said.
