BELGIUM-JUSTICE-PRISON
Minister of Justice and Institutional Reforms Stefaan De Clerck (CD&V Flemish christian democrats) leaves after a meeting with the prison guards at the prison Leuven Centraal, in Leuven, on October 30, 2009. Last night, one prisoner was killed and several prisoners and guards were injured after a hostage taking incident. The guards at the prison have now stopped working to protest against the situation at the prison.
