PHILIPPINES-ATTACKS-ARREST
Philippines Navy Seals lead a captured Abu Sayyaf rebel, 14 June 2004, suspected of being involved in the transnational kidnapping on the Philippine-Malaysian border, during a briefing at military headquarters in the southern Philippines city of Zamboanga. The suspect, identified as Munib Majid, alias Abu Muktar (C), was also involved in the mass abduction of teachers and students in Basilan island in March 2000 before escaping to Tawi-Tawi, a southern tip island province. Muktar was captured along with six other suspects during a beach naval offensive on an island near the sea border of Malaysia 25 May. AFP PHOTO/CHRISTIN DONIO
