FRANCE-CHANNEL CROSSING-BRANSON
Sir Richard Banson drives ashore on the Beach at Calais, France, after his high speed crossing to France in his Aquada amphibian sports car 14 June, 2004. Branson, head of the Virgin Group, took a fraction over one hour and 40 minutes to make the crossing from Dover harbour, southern England to the northern French port of Calais in the futuristic-looking Gibbs Aquada.
