EU-SUMMIT-FOREIGN

Miliband and D'Alema are two of the potential candidates for the post of High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy which will be decided at a European summit following an announcement by Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt on November 11, 2009. The special dinner summit will be held in Brussels next week after an initial round of consultations between the 27 EU nations failed to come up with compromise candidates for the two key posts.
