French engineer and founder of Lumiere Technology, Pascal Cotte explains his work in the 'Secrets of the Mona Lisa' section during a press view of the 'Da Vinci ? The Genius' exhibition at The Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) in Manchester, north-west England, on November 12, 2009. The exhibition features images of the iconic painting, showing how Cotte looked through layers of accumulated varnish to see the original surface. The exhibition opens on November 14.
