YATCHING-JACQUES-VABRE-JOSSE-CUZON-RESCUE
A picture released by the Portuguese Air Force shows the BT yacht as seen from a Portuguese plane, drifting in heavy seas minutes before S?bastien Josse and Jean-Fran?ois Cuzon, Ellen MacArthur teammates, have been rescued by helicopter transfer from the water on November 13, 2009 in the Atlantic Ocean, some 200 km from the Azores. Conditions on the zone were very difficult with 8-metre waves and more than 40 knots of wind. The rescue operation was very tricky but S?bastien and Jeff have been airlifted to safety thanks to the Portuguese Air Force's professionalism and are now on their way back to France.
