Jurors in the trial of child rapist Marc Dutroux spent a third day locked in deliberations 16 June 2004 to decide his fate over a shocking spate of crimes which rocked Belgium eight years ago, amid mounting suspense over the verdict. A ruling is expected by the end of the week, but there was no news and an announcement is not expected before 17 June 2004, said sources at the courtroom where the harrowing case has been heard since March.
