The operations of mobile phone companies Orange and Sunrise are merging in Switzerland under a deal announced on Wednesday. France Telecom, the parent company of Orange, is acquiring three-quarters of Sunrise for 1.5 billion euros (2.26 billion francs), a telecom owned by Danish company TDC.
