BELGIUM-TRIAL-DUTROUX-DARDENNE
Sabine Dardenne, one of Belgian convicted pedophile Marc Dutroux- victims, arrives 17 June 2004 at the Arlon court house. Belgian child-rapist Marc Dutroux was convicted on Thursday on multiple charges of murder and kidnapping after a harrowing two-month trial for his part in the abduction of six girls, four of whom died. The jury failed to return a verdict in the case of one of his three co-defendants, 63-year-old conman Michel Nihoul, who Dutroux alleged was the ringleader of a shadowy paedophile gang.
