BELGIUM-JUSTICE-CHILDSEX-DUTROUX-VERDICT
Frederic Clement de Clety, the lawyer of Marc Dutroux co-accused Michel Lelievre, answers journalists as he leaves 17 June 2004 after the reading of the verdict the Arlon courthouse. Belgian paedophile Marc Dutroux was found guilty of abduction, rape and murder by the jury today at the end of a long-awaited trial into a series of gruesome cirmes in the mid-1990s. But the jury acquitted one of Dutroux-s tree co-accused, Michel Nihoul, of all charges of compliticy in the abductions. Dutroux-s ex-wife Michelle Martin was found guilty of imprisoning the abudcted girls and rapde. The last of the accused Michel Lelievre was convicted of kidnapping and drug-dealing. AFP PHOTO POOL
