FRANCE-TRUFFLES
A producer puts his basket of black truffles on the planks on December 1, 2009 during the first official truffle market in Lalbenque. Some 30 kilos were sold at prices between 500-600 euros per kilo. A total of 30 baskets were offered for sale as against 80 the previous year. AFP PHOTO ERIC CABANIS
