FRANCE-TRUFFLES
A buyer checks the quality of truffles on December 1, 2009 during the first official truffle market in Lalbenque. Some 30 kilos were sold at prices between 500-600 euros per kilo. A total of 30 baskets were offered for sale as against 80 the previous year. AFP PHOTO ERIC CABANIS
