French Culture Minister Frederic Mitterrand (C), next to the two Japanese architects Kazuyo Seejima (2ndL) and Ryue Nishizawa (3rdL), presents, on December 4, 2009, their model of the future Louvre museum in Lens, northern France, during the laying of the founding stone. The future Louvre-Lens museum, to be built in the former northern French mine district, is to present from the first semester of 2012, 250 pieces from the Paris Louvre.
