2009 Nobel Literature laureate Herta Muller (3rd L), 2009 Nobel Prize co-laureates in Medicine Carol Greider (1st L) and Jack Szostak (2nd L), and 2009 Nobel Prize co-laureates in Economic Sciences Elinor Ostrom (2ndR) and Oliver Williamson (1st R) attend the Nobel prize award ceremony at the Stockholm Concert Hall in Stockholm, on December 10, 2009. The 2009 Nobel laureates in literature, economics, medicine, physics and chemistry received their prizes from Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf (unseen) at a gala ceremony in Stockholm. The formal event, held as tradition dictates on the anniversary of the death of prize founder Alfred Nobel in 1896, took place at Stockholm's Concert Hall which was decked out in white and green flowers for the occasion.
