PHILIPPINES-MASSACRE-POLITICS-PROTEST

A massacre occurred on November 23 in the southern Philippine province of Maguindanao when 100 gunmen allegedly controlled by a local mayor abducted relatives and aides of a rival politician, plus a group of journalists, and shot them dead.
