SENEGAL-GUINEA-DORE-OPPOSITION
Guinean opposition leader and general secretary of one of the main opposition parties Union for Guinean Progress (UPG), Jean-Marie Dore speaks to journalists in Dakar on December 17, 2009. Human Rghts Watch said in a report released yesterday that the Guinean army's September 28 rape and massacre of opposition supporters is likely to be classified as a "crime against humanity,". The junta says that 56 people died, while the opposition and human rights organisations say that at least 157 people were killed. Many women were also publicly raped. The United Nations put the death toll at 150. AFP PHOTO / SEYLLOU
