French Foreign Minister, Bernard Kouchner (R) meets with Democratic Republic of Congo President Joseph Kabila on January 8, 2010 in Kinshasa. Kouchner said that the siatuation in the strife-torn east of Congo must improve noting that despite improvements in the humanitarian siatuation, it was not enough.Kouchner arrived in Kinshasa from Rwanda where he went to met President Paul Kagame during a mission to re-establish diplomatic ties, said upon his arrival in Kinshasa that the rapproachment, understanding and dialogoue between the two African leaders had 'bourne-fruits' politically'.
