FRANCE-CINEMA-FILM-ROHMER-DEATH
RESTRICTED TO EDITORIAL USE - MANDATORY CREDIT "AFP/LES FILMS DU LOSANGE". An undated picture released by Les Films du Losange production on January 12, 2009 shows French film director Eric Rohmer directing during the shooting of his film "Conte d'ete". Rohmer died on January 11, 2010 at the age of 89 years. In his most popular works, such as "Ma nuit Chez Maud", "L'Amour L'Apres-Midi" and "Pauline a la Plage", he displayed a lightness of touch and a delicious sense of irony, and although his films were almost devoid of action they were always absorbing and enthralling.
