Honduras went on to defeat the US 3-1 after the United States concluded a 19-day training camp for the 2010 South Africa World Cup with the friendly against fellow qualifier Honduras. The Americans, preparing for a sixth consecutive World Cup appearance, will face England on June 12 in their opener in South Africa and also face Slovenia and Algeria in first-round matches.
