HAIT-QUAKE-US-REMOTE AIRCRAFT
A US RQ-1 Predator prepares to take off from the Aeropuerto Rafael Hernandez January 27, 2010, outside Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The remotely piloted aircraft is operating out of Puerto Rico in support of Operation Unified Response in Haiti. Airmen from Creech Air Force Base, Nevada are providing 24-hour-a-day full-motion video in real-time to international relief workers on the ground in order to speed humanitarian aid to remote and cut-off areas of the country following the 7.0 earthquake January 12, 2010.
