HAITI-QUAKE-CONCERT
People who have been displaced from their homes because of a major earthquake that struck in Port-Au-Prince on January 12 listen to the orchestra of the ?cole de Musique Sainte Trinit?, of Hait? at a cultural center in Port-Au-Prince on February 05, 2010. The ?cole has cooperated with the OAS on its Youth Orchestra Program for Youths at Risk in the Caribbean, which seeks to address Haiti?s youth violence and high school dropout rates. In its first concert since the earthquake that struck the island. The original music school building collapsed in the earthquake and some of the instruments used in the concert were recovered from the rubble. AFP PHOTO/Roberto SCHMIDT
