AUSTRALIA-WEATHER-FIRE-ANNIVERSARY
Anglican Archbishop of Melbourne Philip Freier (L) blesses the congregation during a remembrance service at St Paul's Cathedral in Melbourne on February 7, 2010 on a national day of mourning to mark the first anniversary of the Black Saturday bushfires. Australians marked the first anniversary of devastating wildfires which killed 173 people, grieving those who lost their lives and praying for the survivors. The "Black Saturday" bushfires, Australia's worst natural disaster, wiped out entire towns and communities and destroyed more than 2,000 homes as they swept through 78 communities in the southeastern state of Victoria in 2009.
