Wild Zebra stand February 10, 2010 in a makeshift pen after they were rounded-up by Kenya Wildlife Service, KWS, officers at Soysambu conservancy in Nakuru, approximately 200 kilometres north-west of Nairobi for translocation to Kenya's famed Amboseli national park.Kenyan game rangers on Wednesday began rounding up some 7,000 thousand animals including zebras and other large herbivores, in one of Africa's largest translocation efforts, to be moved to a reserve where starving lions have been attacking livestock after zebra and other large herbivore species were decimated by a searing drought last year.
