INDIA-RELIGION-FESTIVAL
An Indian Naga Sadhu - Hindu Holy man - lights a chillum - traditional clay pipe - at the Juna Akhara camp during the Kumbh Mela - Pitcher Fair - in Haridwar on February 12, 2010. Billed as one of the largest Hindu spiritual events in the world, the gathering is a meeting place for the 'Naga Baba' order, famous for their lack of clothing, coating their bodies in a layer of ash and braiding their hair. The festival, being held 60 kilometres (37 miles) from Uttarakhand's capital city Dehradun commemorates a mythical battle between gods and demons over a pitcher of the nectar of immortality.
