INDONESIA-SPECIES-CONSERVATION-RHINO
This undated handout photograh released by the Indonesian Rhino Foundation (SRS-YABI) on February 19, 2010 shows a pair of highly endangered Sumatran rhino, a female named Ratu (L) and a male named Andalas (R) at the breeding sanctuary in the Way Kambas national park in Lampung, South Sumatra province. Indonesian conservationists hailed on February 18, 2010 a breakthrough in efforts to save the Sumatran rhino after Ratu became pregnant in captivity. Tests revealed that eight-year-old Ratu was carrying a calf after mating with Andalas, the first of only three Sumatran rhinos born in captivity in more than a century.
