IRAN-UNREST-SUNNI-PAKISTAN
Pakistan's embassador in Iran Mohammad Abbasi holds a press conference at Islamabad's mission in Tehran on February 24, 2010, during which he announced that his country played a role in helping the Islamic republic arrest its most wanted Sunni militant Abdolmalek Rigi who was seized onboard a flight from Dubai the previous day. Without elaborating, Abbasi said details of Pakistan's help to Iran in arresting Rigi would be revealed in "two or three days time." Rigi, the head of shadowy Sunni rebel group Jundallah (Soldiers of God) who was accused of launching from Pakistan deadly attacks in southeastern Iranian province of Sistan-Baluchestan, was captured on a flight from Dubai to Kyrgyzstan.
