FRANCE-GASTRONOMY-MICHELIN
Philippe Gourgaud (C), manager of the restaurant "Cheval blanc" and French chef Denis Setisson (4L) pose on February 26, 2010, along with other cooks, in front of the Cheval Blanc (white horse) hotel in Courchevel ski resort, in the French Alps. The restaurant of the hotel, named "Cheval Blanc", won two Michelin stars on March 1, 2010. The 2010 guide gave 10 restaurants two stars -- itself quite an honour, as this brought the number of two-star eateries up to only 77 across France -- and 47 won one star, bringing the number to 455.
