BRITAIN-AFGHANISTAN-MILITARY
(FILES) This file picture taken on July 30, 2009 in central London shows Lance Corporal Joe Glenton a soldier with Britain's Royal Logistics Corps, standing outside 10 Downing Street after handing in a letter to Prime Minister Gordon Brown, explaining why he is refusing to return to fight in Afghanistan. A soldier who went absent without leave (awol) rather than serve a second tour in Afghanistan was jailed for nine months on Friday March 5, 2010. Lance Corporal Joe Glenton, who was also reduced to the ranks, was sentenced at a military court in Colchester, Essex, after admitting the awol charge. AFP PHOTO/Leon Neal/FILES
