KAZAKHSTAN-SPACE-LANDING
The Russian "Soyuz TMA-16" space capsule touches down not far from the Kazakh town of Arkalyk (some 300 kilometers from Kazakh capital of Astana) on March 18, 2010, with Russian cosmonaut Maxim Surayev and US astronaut Jeffrey Williams on board. A Russian spacecraft carrying a Russian cosmonaut and a US astronaut back from the International Space Station has landed in Kazakhstan, a mission control official in Moscow said.
