US stock markets opened slightly lower April 7, 2010 amid renewed concerns about Greece's deepening debt crisis and the strength of the budding US economic recovery from recession.The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 17.30 points (0.16 percent) to 10,952.69 in early trades, extending a modest loss Tuesday. The tech-rich Nasdaq composite slipped 2.18 points (0.09 percent) to 2,434.63 and the broad-market Standard & Poor's 500 index retreated 1.30 points (0.11 percent) to 1,188.13.
