FILES - A picture taken on September 6, 2008 shows German film director Werner Schroeter posing with his Special Lion award during the closing ceremony of the 65th Venice International Film Festival at Venice Lido. The German cinema and theatre director died from cancer at the age of 65 in the night from April 12 to 13, 2010 in Kassel, the Schwules Museum de Berlin announced on April 13.
