Shunichi Iwasaki, director of Japan's Tohoku Institute of Technology, delivers an acceptance speech after being awarded the Japan Prize during a presentation ceremony in Tokyo on April 21, 2010. Iwasaki received the production technology field award after developing the Perpendicular Magnetic Recording (PMR) method for hard disk drives (HDD).
