HONG KONG-AVIATION-VOLCANO-FOOD
Commercial manager Julien Aulong walks past sparsely packed shelves in a refrigerated store room of the Classic Fine Foods company in Hong Kong on April 22, 2010. As passengers are allowed back in the air, the cargo of fine food is about last on the list of priorities for airlines a week after a volcanic eruption in Iceland caused the worst disruption to aviation since World War II. Classic Fine Foods has had to cut back its weekly imports from around six to two tonnes of perishible goods resulting in the large-scale waste of delicacies such as oysters and fish in European airports slated for Hong Kong bound flights.
