NEW YORK - APRIL 26: New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg enters a news conference where he announced that a coalition of companies has committed to cut salt levels in their products on April 26, 2010 in New York City. Following his success with banning smoking in restaurants and eliminating trans-fats from foods in New York City, Mayor Bloomberg is now directing his attention to a nationwide campaign called the National Salt Reduction Initiative which aims to reduce salt in restaurant and packaged foods by 25 percent over five years.
