BELGIUM-POLITICS
Vice-Prime Minister and Budget Minister Guy Vanhengel (Open Vld Flemish liberals) arrives for the ministers council meeting in Brussels, on April 29, 2010. The King accepted the resignation of the government, after it fell over the flashpoint issue of special rights for French speakers in Dutch-speaking Flemish suburbs of Brussels. The King has consulted several party chairmen and women recently. Some people want an emergency government, others feel elections should be organised.
