FRANCE-AFGHANISTAN-PRESS-HOSTAGES
People hold a banner from the windows of the headquarters of "Reporters without borders" international NGO on April 29, 2010 in Paris, for the international press freedom day. The banner asks for the release of two French journalists of France 3 television network who were kidnapped in December 2009 along with their translator, an editorial fixer and a driver on a road in eastern Afghanistan. Herve Ghesquiere and Stephane Taponier were named for the first time recently at the request of their families after they appeared in an apparent Taliban video distributed to various Western media.
