SPAIN-EU-FISHERIES-ESPINOSA
Spanish Fisheries Minister Elena Espinosa (R) and EU fisheries and maritime affairs commissioner Maria Damanaki (L) arrive for an Informal Meeting of Ministers of Fisheries on May 5, 2010 in Vigo, northwestern Spain. The objective of the Informal Meeting of Fisheries, organized by the Spanish rotating Presidency of the EU, is to give impetus to the tasks which will serve as a foundation to carry out the Common Fisheries Policy reform, which must deal with issues such as resource access, governance, small scale and coastal fishing.
