Kristic, the first Bosnian Serb convicted of genocide for his part in the Srebrenica massacre was savagely attacked in a British prison, police said on May 8, 2010. Krstic, 62, was taken to hospital after being attacked by three inmates yesterday at the high-security Wakefield Prison in Yorkshire, northern England.
