BELGIUM-RELIGION-BRUGGE-PROCESSION
Church members attend the Holy Blood Procession in Brugge, on the Grand Place, on the Ascension Day, on May 13, 2010. During the procession, the relic of holy blood is carried from the holy blood basilic to the holy savior cathedral. For the first time there is no bishop participating at the procession, after Brugge's bishop Roger Vangheluwe resigned last month, after confessing to a case of sexual abuse.
