ICELAND-VOLCANO-AVIATION
A photo released on May 17, 2010 shows an image captured by The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA?s Aqua satellite on May 15, 2010 of the eruption of Iceland's Eyjafjoell volcano. Volcanic ash appears in shades of brown and gray, mingling with paler clouds off Iceland?s coast. The red dot is a hotspot indicating high surface temperatures associated with volcanic activity. Black outlines indicate the coasts of Iceland and smaller islands nearby.
