BRITAIN-AIRLINE-BA-EMPLOYEE-STRIKE
The secretary-general of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Brendan Barber, arrives at the headquarters of the employment dispute resolution service Acas in the center of London ahead of talks between Unite and British Airways on May 22, 2010. British Airways (BA) and union representatives are to hold last-ditch talks on May 22 in a bid to prevent a wave of strike action. BA cabin crew are set to hold a five-day strike from May 24, followed by two further five-day actions starting on May 30 and June 5, if the talks mediated by Acas are not successful.
