TO GO WITH Bangladesh-cyclone-migration-warming,FEATURE by Cat Barton
A Bangladeshi woman sits in her flooded home during tidal movements in Gabura on May 13, 2010. Cyclone Aila slammed into southern Bangladesh on May 26, 2009 and while the initial deathtoll was low, less than 300 people were killed , compared to 4000 by cyclone Sidr in 2007 ?a huge tidal surge destroy the network of rivers embankments . A year later the embankments have not rebuilt , condemning 200,000 people live in limbo?their land submerged and too salty for crops. AFP PHOTO/Munir uz ZAMAN
