FILES-IRAN-POLITICS-EXECUTION
(FILES) -- File picture dated August 25, 2009 shows Abdolhamid Rigi, a top Sunni rebel of the shadowy Jundallah (Soldiers of God) group, during a press conference in Iran?s restive southeastern city of Zahedan. Iran hanged Rigi, who is the brother of another captured Sunni militant leader, Abdolmalek Rigi, for "terrorism" in Zahedan in the Sistan-Baluchestan province on May 24, 2010, state media reported. "Abdolhamid Rigi was hanged in prison Monday morning," the Islamic republic's official news agency IRNA said, adding the execution was watched by the "families of victims of terrorist incidents." State television's website said the man was convicted of "Moharebeh" (armed opposition to the state) and being "corrupt on earth by membership in a terrorist group." AFP PHOTO/ATTA KENARE
