Iran hanged Rigi, who is the brother of another captured militant leader, Abdolmalek Rigi, for "terrorism" in Zahedan on May 24, 2010, state media reported. State television's website said the man was convicted of "Moharebeh" (armed opposition to the state) and being "corrupt on earth by membership in a terrorist group."
