Youth engage security forces in during demonstrations May 26, 2010 at Fomboni, the capital of Comoros' island of Moheli after Comoros' president Ahmed Abdalla Sambi named a 10-member interim government on what is theoretically his last day in office Wednesday. Sambi who's mandate is supposed to end at midnight Wednesday but achieved last March an extension of his term until late 2011following a controversial constitutional reform last year was elected in 2006 from Anjouan isle is theoretically to hand over to a leader from Moheli under a power-sharing accord bewteen the islands of Grand Comore, Anjouan and Moheli. Youths on the island of Moheli on Wednesday erected barricades made of rocks, scrap metal and trash on the main street and sporadically pelted security forces who tried to remove the barriers with stones.
