TO GO WITH INDONESIE-SOCIAL-ENVIRONMENT BY JEROME RIVET
Photo taken on February 15, 2010 shows an Indonesian worker making a clothes bin from recycled plastic packages at the Xs workshop in Jakarta. Project Xs foundation was launched by American recycling artist Ann Wizer in 2000 whose goal is to integrate the environment, social and design. Through the foundation scavengers sought in garbage dumps flexible plastic packaging for detergents or toothpaste that are impossible to sell because its not recyclable and turn them into fashionable bags, wallets, school kits and even guitar covers that are sold in boutiques in Europe, US and Singapore.
