FRANCE-ANTI-TERRORISME-EU-EXERCISE
This achive picture taken on September 23, 2009 to illustrate the paper in French "EXERCICE INEDIT EUROPEEN DE CONTRE-TERRORISME AERIEN A CHATEAUROUX" shows GIGN (french SWAT) in an anti-terrorisme exercise. The GIGN and RAID (Fance), the EKO (Austria), the GSG9 (Germany), the GIS (Italy) and the Red Panther (Slovenia): 32 elite units from 26 countries, some 200 men took part in a spectacular and unprecedented exercise to liberate hostaghes from 2 planewsn the Chateauroux airfield.
