INDONESIA-ENVIRONMENT-MUD-ANNIVERSARY
In this picture taken on May 27, 2010 a woman, whose house was submerged by the flow of mud from the Lapindo mud volcano in Porong, Sidoarjo district, on East Java, takes a nap outside a makeshift shelters built on an abandoned highway where she and many others have lived for almost four years. Four years after it erupted from the well of a gas company linked to one of Indonesia's richest men, the mud volcano known as "Lusi" is still spewing its toxic sludge over Java's countryside. The mud -- a hot, bubbling, grey substance the consistency of wet concrete -- has already wiped out 12 villages, killed 13 people and displaced more than 42,000. AFP PHOTO / ADEK BERRY
