People enjoy the sun on the tarmac of former Tempelhof Airport on June 5, 2010 in Berlin, Germany. Spring brought temperatures up to 25 degrees Celsius to the German capital. A part of the airport's terrain was opened for the public on May 8, some 18 months after its closure. The area is planned to become a central location for recreational and leisure activities.
